Child protection and youth development

At the NGO "MARTIN-club," we are deeply convinced that every child should grow up loved and safe within a family environment, rather than behind the walls of residential institutions. We actively support deinstitutionalization and the development of family-based care for children deprived of parental care. The warmth of a family and an inclusive environment that embraces every individual’s unique traits provide the best foundation for harmonious growth. Every day, we work to preserve families and provide children and parents with comprehensive psychological, legal, and social support.

Today, Ukrainian children and youth face unprecedented risks due to the war, forced displacement, and the loss of their homes. Those who have suffered trauma, lost loved ones, or endured the horrors of sexual or physical violence are particularly vulnerable. For these children, our qualified psychologists and social workers provide compassionate, specialized care, helping them regain a sense of security, overcome stress, and restore their trust in the world.

The war has also caused significant educational setbacks, hindering children’s ability to learn effectively and socialize with their peers. We help bridge knowledge gaps, create safe spaces for development and adaptation, and teach children and adolescents how to counter bullying and practice cybersecurity. Our goal is to ensure that children feel protected—both in real-life interactions and in the digital space, where harassment and online risks have emerged as new challenges.

 

Through close cooperation with communities and partners, we care for the well-being of families, providing mothers, women, and children with essential support and resources.
