Combating gender-based violence and CRSV
At the NGO "MARTIN-club," we believe that everyone deserves safety, respect, and the opportunity to live without fear. Our work to combat gender-based and conflict-related violence involves providing systematic support grounded in international humanitarian standards and protection principles. We stand by individuals throughout their recovery journey: providing psychological first aid, helping them overcome trauma, offering professional legal support, and assisting with urgent household and financial needs through protection-based cash assistance.
We strive to be there for every woman and girl, wherever she may be. For those requiring immediate protection from danger, our welcoming crisis rooms and temporary shelters operate around the clock, ensuring a safe environment and physical security. We maintain open, friendly safe spaces for women and girls within communities, while our compassionate multidisciplinary mobile teams regularly visit residents of remote or frontline villages to provide emergency or scheduled psychosocial support in accordance with case management standards.
We approach the needs of children who have faced violence or the trauma of war with profound care and a deep sense of responsibility. Our specialized services operate with sensitivity and confidentiality, guided by international child protection standards and a zero-tolerance policy toward violence. To ensure truly holistic support, we facilitate cross-sector coordination among medical professionals, law enforcement, social services, and educators through well-established referral pathways; we also train frontline professionals to act with empathy and professionalism, adhering to the principle of preventing re-traumatization.
We believe that a safe future is built on mutual respect, equality, and community support. That is why we conduct educational sessions for men and boys to help overcome harmful stereotypes and foster a culture of safe behavior. At the same time, we support women in reclaiming their agency through economic empowerment programs, women's leadership initiatives, and grants for local projects—enabling every woman to realize her power to create a safe life for herself and her children.
