We created two social enterprises - Horizontal Coffee Shop and MAMA 1 Bakery. Social entrepreneurship Work directions / Social business / We started 2 social businesses: MAMA 1 bakery and Horizontal coffee shop . The idea of creating a social business came to us a long time ago. Back in Makiivka, we were building a small farm next to the shelter. When the organization moved to Dnipro, we decided to implement more global plans for ourselves. First, as part of the Rukavychka shelter, we built a bakery . The main idea was to create conditions for teaching baking to women who lived with children in the shelter, so that they would have income and self-respect. Bakery MAMA 1 - Not one, but the first , started working in 2017. We sold products through the website, social networks and partners. By 2024, the project will operate at 50% only for online orders or for special events. In 2019, we opened a coffee shop. It was a project that we really wanted to make sincere and socially active. The concept was a completely ordinary coffee shop with specialty coffee that donated 100% of the profits to the organization's social programs. In 2024, we closed the coffee shop, but the project itself moved in a simplified form to the premises of youth activities. Donors of direction 2 Enterprises 60 000+ Customers 50+ Products 5 000 000 Income, UAH Social enterprises "MAMA 1" Bakery The project was created in 2017 as part of the Rukavychka shelter. We aimed to support women, teach them new skills, and restore their self-respect. The bakery works online and on holidays. Kaffee Horizontal' The project was created in 2019 as an ordinary coffee shop with specialty coffee, where 100% of the profit went to the social programs of the organization. We sold the products of the MAMA 1 bakery. News No posts published in this language yet Once posts are published, you’ll see them here.

Support and protection of children We carry out large-scale activities to protect and support children, including those who have suffered from war and difficult life circumstances. The organization offers a safe space where children can receive psychological and social support, particularly through mobile brigades and specialized centers, such as the "Center for Assistance to the Rescued in the Dnipro". In such centers, children and their families provide psychological assistance, legal advice, and basic needs, contributing to their restoration and integration into society. In addition to direct support, Martin-club is actively engaged in educational activities, involving the community in the protection of children's rights and prevention of violence. This helps to create a favorable environment that prevents crisis situations and maintains the stability of vulnerable populations. Martin-club also actively helps children who are in difficult social and psychological conditions through hostilities. The organization involves skilled psychologists and social workers who provide children with emotional support, teach the skills of overcoming stress and help to establish trust in adults. Particular attention is paid to children who have lost their parents or have been forced to leave their homes, as well as those who have suffered violence. Through individual consultations and group classes, they receive the necessary resources to stabilize emotional state and development. In addition, the organization cooperates with local communities and international partners to create long -term support programs. For example, in the framework of projects with partners such as Mercy Corps, Martin-club provides assistance not only to children but also for mothers, women and other vulnerable groups, providing them with access to psychological and legal support, as well as the necessary household goods. This approach not only meets immediate needs, but also creates conditions for sustainable community development, which is capable of supporting and protecting children. • Preparation and protection in case of conflict | ГО МАРТІН-клуб

https://static.wixstatic.com/media/54010a_f6800f31f6ab40ed9521bf6baa1e8efa~mv2.jpg Preparation during the conflict Donor The project "Enhancing Preparedness for Conflict and Protection of Civilians in Ukraine" is aimed at improving the awareness and preparedness of the population for emergencies and armed conflicts. The project is implemented in partnership with NPA (Norwegian People's Aid), which is a guarantor of high quality and effectiveness of training programs. Project duration: From May 1 to September 30, 2024. Key activities: Within the framework of the project, three mobile teams of training specialists organize and conduct training sessions for the population. The main topic of the lecture and training sessions is "Readiness and Protection in the Event of Conflict". Purpose of the sessions: The main purpose of these sessions is to increase the awareness of the population about actions in emergencies and during armed conflict. This includes preventing danger to one's own life and health, as well as the lives of one's relatives and loved ones. Expected results: Increasing the number of trained citizens who know how to act in case of emergency. Increasing the level of population safety in conditions of armed conflict. Preventing possible dangers and minimizing risks to the civilian population. This project is an important step in strengthening the security and preparedness of Ukrainian citizens, providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills for protection in the event of a conflict. According to preliminary estimates, almost 30% of the territory of Ukraine or 174 thousand sq. km is contaminated with explosive objects as a result of the armed conflict in Ukraine. As of September 2023, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 740 people were injured, of whom 242 people died, including 13 children. The armed conflict has caused a massive presence of mines and explosive devices in frontline areas. So massive that the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs considers Ukraine one of the most mined countries in the world. According to The Washington Post, after interviewing experts, demining could take hundreds of years. Explosive weapons will continue to pose a threat to civilians for a long time, especially children and young people who do not always understand the risks associated with them. Often, people do not have sufficient knowledge about how to recognize and avoid mines and explosive devices, as well as about the possible consequences of their use. This is confirmed by a U-report survey of 4,415 young people from Ukraine on mine safety rules. As part of the survey, the overwhelming majority of respondents, 54% in the Dnipropetrovsk region and 50% in the Zaporizhia region, would like to receive more information on how to behave properly around a mine or ammunition. Also, the indicator of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions, 42% and 45% (respectively), on the lack of good awareness of citizens on mine safety, allows us to understand the relevance of this issue and the need for systematic prevention of accidents. Knowledge of EORE (Explosive ordnance risk education) is an important component of CPP (Conflict Preparedness and Protection). These two topics provide comprehensive knowledge from the point of view of protecting and surviving citizens in case of conflicts and crisis situations. Comprehensively - CPP is about actions in unforeseen circumstances, in conditions of limited resources and time. About how to act before, during and after a dangerous situation, which is extremely relevant in today's Ukraine. 40% knowledge improvement 4 community 107 training sessions 1940 beneficiaries "This project is extremely relevant for Ukraine and, mainly, the East of the country. Thanks to our efforts, the average increase in knowledge among the beneficiaries is 40%. This shows the effectiveness of the training sessions and the real benefit for people. This project is not just training, it is protection the lives and health of our citizens. The efforts of the project team help to maintain security in our communities and ensure a future without fear of possible military conflicts and explosive devices. The personal motivation is to make Ukraine safer for each of us. Hundreds of positive responses from listeners give understanding that we are doing an important thing. I am sure that every citizen of Ukraine needs this knowledge, which is why the demand for training sessions does not decrease." Project coordinator "The project on informing about preparedness and protection in the event of a conflict is extremely important for the population. I directly conduct trainings on the ground, and I believe that this activity is an integral part of the process of informing people. During the lectures, the participants listen with interest, actively comment and take participation in discussions, which helps to learn the material better. At the end of the one-hour lecture, they willingly answer questions, which allows you to check the acquired knowledge."
